At times, when a model isn't available, you have to become the model yourself. I've always dreamed of seeing the tree of life in person and know it has been dwindling and less than a three-hour drive. So, earlier this year, I gathered my mom and my two best friends, Maddy and Tyler, donned a fun outfit we put together, and drove there. Port Townsend is a place you have to visit more than once. My first time there was a road trip to visit Fort Warden in 2018 for a fantasy shoot with my friend Justin. We only explored battery McKenzie that time, but I had the opportunity to go back in July for a short wedding, so I took that opportunity and stayed a few days and really explored it this summer when I took a short wedding gig at Fort Townsend State Park ; the day after a nearly 11-hour wedding in centralia.
